In Norway, we work to preserve natural values and biodiversity in the sea and on land. We spend a lot of time influencing Norwegian environmental policy and legislation to achieve our environmental goals. In 2020, WWF ran the TV campaign An ocean of opportunities. We support international nature conservation and development projects in several African countries and in Asia. The work is done in collaboration with local people, local organizations and authorities. These projects are mainly funded by Norad. We have an annual turnover of around NOK 200 million, divided between public funds and funds from private donors and the Postcode Lottery.

We are Eco-Lighthouse certified, and our greenhouse gas emissions must be in line with the goal of limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees.
